Alexandra illustrates what inspires her. Fashion, botanicals, vintage wares and food, families, animals and homes, together with her whimsical bridal illustrations all created in her detailed signature, exaggerated fashion style.

Australian born, Sydney based, Alexandra Nea Graham holds an Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design from The Design Studio, East Sydney Technical College, Sydney.

From College she worked for a decade in the Fashion Industry, both locally and abroad, as a Designer for labels Ted Baker London, Collette Dinnigan Sydney, Little Joe Woman Sydney, as well as being the Director of her own internationally stocked and recognised fashion label, Alexandra Nea (2002-2008).

The creation in 2011 of illustrated recipe blog The Art of Afternoon Tea saw a return to drawing for Alexandra and after two years in 2013 she made the switch from the commercial fashion design world to become a freelance illustrator and designer. Currently, Alexandra is working private commission and commercial illustration and design projects around being a Mum of 2. Clients include Pier One, Toyota, Kate Spade NY, Christian Louboutin, Porsche, Bulgari, Fendi, APPELLES, Country Road, The Langham Hotel Sydney, Levantine Hill Estate, GC 2018 Commonwealth Games, Mimco, Omega, The St George Foundation, 8Hotels, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, The Australian Turf Club, SK-II, Olay, Myer, David Jones, Pacific Fair, Westfield, Homebodii, Review, Disney, Dermalogica, Steven Khalil, VAMFF. In 2017, Alexandra proudly took on the role of Creative Patron and Ambassador for The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, creating the illustrated visuals for their 2017-23 Frocktober campaigns.

Alexandra Nea was named by Husskie Press as one of the top ten Australian Style Illustrators to follow in 2017 & by Harper’s BAZAAR as one of Australia’s top 12 Fashion Illustrators to follow in 2015. Her illustrations have been featured in publications including The Design Files, The Daily Mail, The Alchemist, CHILD, Sunday Style, Delicious, Home Beautiful, Madison, Harper’s BAZAAR, Sydney Wedding, Modern Wedding, Bride to Be, WHITE, Wedding Celebration as well as numerous online sites and blogs.
